Jonathan Blekis Sr., 37, of Lodi, California was extradited back to Stanton County to face sentencing on a felony drug charge from 2021. Blekis was originally arrested by the Sheriff’s office on Hwy 275 near Pilger driving a semi and trailer at high speeds while under the influence and also in possession of cocaine and methamphetamine. He later failed to appear for sentencing after pleading guilty to a drug charge and was ultimately taken into custody in San Juaquin County, CA on the felony warrant. He was extradited back to Nebraska earlier this week by the Sheriff’s office and is being held in custody pending his sentencing court date of February 6th.
