The New Year was fairly uneventful in Stanton County on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Short of a few minor calls for service and one DWI arrest the Sheriff’s office was not overly busy. Cody Granfield, 33, of rural Hoskins was arrested for Reckless Driving, Driving While Intoxicated, and Obstructing a Police Officer at about 1:52 a.m. in Woodland Park. Granfield remains in the county jail pending the posting of bond.
