Norfolk Woman Arrested For Felony 4th Offense DWI

At about Midnight on Friday morning the Stanton County Sheriff’s office received a report of a vehicle travelling west just entering Stanton County on U.S. Hwy 275 that was driving erratically and appeared to be dragging a bumper on the roadway. The vehicle was located and stopped near Pilger and the female driver, Candi Kraut, 53, of Norfolk was found to be intoxicated. She further advised she had struck an irrigation unit somewhere in Cuming County with her vehicle causing damage to her car. Kraut was booked at the Sheriff’s office for 4th offense DWI and Careless Driving and jailed pending the posting of a cash bond.
