Norfolk Woman Sent to Hospital After Rollover

Just before 10:00 a.m. this morning the Stanton County Sheriff’s office responded to and investigated a one vehicle rollover accident that sent a Norfolk woman to the hospital for treatment. The accident occurred when a southbound car lost control on Old Hwy 35 near Woodland Park, just North of East Benjamin Avenue. The vehicle then crossed the northbound lane and entered the ditch rolling and landing on its side. The 38 year old lone occupant was able to exit the vehicle through the broken windshield and was later transported by Hoskins/Woodland Park rescue to FRHS for treatment of a possible neck injury. Seatbelts were in use and the vehicle is a total loss.
