On Friday night at about 9:00 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a vehicle on Hwy 275 near Pilger for a Defective Vehicle Violation. The driver was identified as Joshua Johnson, 39, of Wisner and during the contact Johnson provided false information regarding his DOB and identity. He was found to have a revoked drivers license for fifteen years and was placed under arrest for Felony DUS and and False Reporting. Johnson was jailed pending the setting of a bond and he has three prior prison terms on driving related violations.
