On Sunday evening at about 6:30 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a speeding vehicle about three miles South of Stanton on Hwy 57. The driver was found to be suspended and a passenger Nathan Vanosdol, 28, of Omaha was found to have an active warrant for a Parole Violation out of California on a weapons violation. He was taken into custody and booked on the felony warrant and jailed pending extradition proceedings. The driver Jonathan Vanosdol, 27, of Omaha was cited for Speeding 78/65, Driving During Suspension, No Valid Registration and an Open Container of Alcohol Violation.
