On Sunday night at about 7:40p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a speeding westbound vehicle on Hwy 275 about 4 miles east of Norfolk. The driver was identified as Jesus Rosendo-Olivias, 21, of Lincoln. He was further found to have no valid drivers license and illegally tinted windows. A subsequent probable cause search of the vehicle revealed he was in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Rosendo-Olivias was placed under arrest for the felony drug violation and was jailed pending the setting of a bond. It is unclear if Rosendo-Olivias is legally in the United States.
