Papillion Man Arrested for DWI After Testing More than Five Times the Legal Limit

At about 5:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a vehicle on Hwy 275, east of Norfolk for speeding 87 mph in a 65 mph and driving on the shoulder. The driver, Brandon Hilliard, 32, of Papillion was found to be intoxicated and failed sobriety testing. He further provided a breath sample of that showed a BAC. more than five times the legal limit. Hilliard was booked on the aggravated DWI charge and released after posting bond.

Also early Thanksgiving morning around 2:00 a.m. a 36-year-old Norfolk man was arrested in Stanton County for Third offense felony DWI (above .150% BAC.) after he was stopped for Speeding on Hwy 275. Timmy Lortz was found to be intoxicated and tested nearly three times the legal limit. Lortz was then jailed pending the posting of a cash bond.
