On Monday morning at about 8:10 a.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a speeding vehicle on Hwy 275 north of Stanton. Upon having contact with the lone driver, it was found that he had an active felony warrant out of Rock County, Illinois for Failure to Appear. Dillard McCoy Cook, 44, of St. Cloud, Fl was taken into custody and was booked at the Sheriff’s office and brought in front of a judge where he waived extradition back to Illinois and he remains is custody until picked up.
