On Monday in Stanton County District Court two men were given prison sentences after their arrest by the Stanton County Sheriff’s office. Clayton Jindra, 26, Creston was sentenced to 18 months in prison following his conviction for Fourth offense DWI and also had his drivers license revoked for fifteen years and received a $3000.00 fine. He was arrested last year on Hwy 57 South of Stanton by the Sheriff’s office and tested more than twice the legal limit. Also sentenced to Prison was Erman Overshiner, 61, of Lincoln was sentenced to 12 months in prison following his conviction for violations of a post-release DWI conviction. He was arrested in 2018 by the Sheriff’s office near Woodland Park for sixth offense DWI and driving on a fifteen year license revocation. He was sentenced to more than five years in prison following convictions for those offenses and then failed to comply with release requirements after serving his prison time and was recently arrested out of state on a Stanton County arrest warrant and extradited back to Nebraska by the Sheriff’s office.
