Kearney Man Arrested on Felony Parole Violation Warrant and DWI

At about 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday night the Stanton County Sheriff’s office was notified of a black in color BMW driving erratically northbound on Hwy 35 after it just left the Norfolk city limits. The vehicle was later located by the Sheriff’s office in Woodland Park and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver Martin Santiago Jr., 26, of Kearney was found to be intoxicated and was placed under arrest for DWI after failing roadside sobriety testing. He was booked at the Sheriff’s office where he provided a failing breath sample and was also found to be wanted on a Nebraska Department of Corrections Arrest Warrant with no bond for Parole Violations.
