Omaha Man Arrested On Multiple Felonies Following Traffic Stop on Hwy 275

On Monday morning just before 11:00 a.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a speeding vehicle on Hwy 275 near Pilger and had contact with the lone male driver. He provided a name that proved to be false and subsequently his real identity was determined and he was found to have a revoked driver’s license for fifteen years. Pierre Evans, 38, of Omaha was then booked at the Sheriff’s office on felony charges of Driving During Revocation and Criminal Impersonation and jailed pending the posting of a cash bond. Evans also faces a possible habitual Criminal charge as he has been in prison more than twice prior.
