At about 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening, the Stanton County Sheriff’s office arrested a 35 year old Creston man for felony DWI after he was clocked speeding on Hwy 57 at 83 mph in the 65 mph zone about six miles south of Stanton. The lone driver Clayton Jindra was found to be intoxicated and was placed under arrest for DWI and an open container of alcohol violation. He was booked at the Sheriff’s office where he provided a breath sample that was nearly three times the legal limit. He was found to have three prior convictions for DWI and was then jailed on a 4th offense aggravated DWI charge pending the posting of a yet to be set cash bond.
