On Thursday morning the Stanton County Sheriff’s office arrested Elizabeth Claren, 28, of Creston on a felony arrest warrant that was issued for her after an investigation into the theft of several thousand dollars from a Stanton business by the former employee. The investigation by the Sheriff’s office revealed Claren had been falsifying business deposits and unlawfully pocketing cash from her employer. She was booked at the Sheriff’s office and later released from custody after posting a $10,000.00 bond. She is scheduled to appear later this month for arraignment in Stanton County Court.
