Sheriff Mike Unger recently attended the 32nd annual ROCIC Homicide/Death Investigation Conference in Chattanooga, TN. The training was instructed by a host of experts in death investigation and homicide prosecution in the southeastern United States. This is the third time that Sheriff Unger has attended the ROCIC training and the highlight of this conference was a case presentation by the two South Carolina solicitors that prosecuted the high profile Alex Murdaugh murder trial earlier this year, where Murdaugh was convicted of shooting and killing both his wife and son.
