After a court hearing on Monday afternoon, two 14-year-old males were ordered to be continued held at the Madison JDC after probable cause for their arrest by the Sheriff’s office was found sufficient. During the hearing one of the defendants agreed to show the Sheriff’s office where the gun used to shoot a Woodland Park residence was located and he was transported to Woodland Park in custody, where the Sheriff’s office located a 9mm pistol hidden under a truck in the yard of the other male suspects residence. The initial gun location that was given to the Sheriff’s office on Saturday morning was found to have not been true and was mis-leading. Both males are scheduled to appear on August 22nd for further hearings in Stanton.
