Norfolk Man Arrested For Going More Then 100 mph While Driving Drunk

Just after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a westbound car on Hwy 275 just east of Norfolk travelling at 105 mph in the 70 mph zone. The driver Rockie McGraw, 32, was also found to be highly intoxicated and was placed under arrest for DWI along with the speeding violation. He was booked at the Sheriff’s office where he provided a breath sample nearly three times the legal limit. McGraw was released after posting a cash bond on charges of Aggravated DWI -2nd offense and the speeding violation. He is scheduled to appear in court in June.

In a seperate traffic stop earlier on Sunday afternoon a 36 year old woman from Sioux Falls, SD was stopped by the Sheriff’s office for speeding on Hwy 35 near Woodland Park. During that stop Bobbie McGee was found to be in possession of marijuana and THC wax along with a large assortment of drug paraphernalia. She was cited and released with a June courtdate.
