Two Arrested on Felony Charges Following Traffic Stop North of Stanton

At about 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday night the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a vehicle near the Highway 275 and Highway 57 Junction, north of Stanton for having expired plates. The driver Patrick Prince, 35, of Lincoln was found to have two felony arrest warrants. Prince was wanted by the Nebraska Department of Corrections for absconding parole and he also had a Lancaster County Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. A female passenger, Michelle Ellenberger, 38, of Pierce was found to have more than 20 grams of methamphetamine in her possession and also was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, along with Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. Some of the contraband recovered from her possession was located inside a body cavity on her. A replica handgun and brass knuckles were also located inside the vehicle and additional charges are possible. Both were jailed pending Prince return to corrections authorities and Ellenberger posting a cash bond.
