Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger recently completed a three day advanced Coroner/Death Investigation Training Conference presented by the Illinois Coroners and Medical Examiners Association in Collinsville, Illinois. Sheriff Unger is the primary/lead death investigator for all deaths in Stanton County and has more than a 1000 hours of advanced training in Medicolegal death investigation and post-mortem examinations.
