On Tuesday afternoon at about 4:30 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office was advised by an off-duty Norfolk P.D. officer that a female was inside a Stanton business and that she had multiple confirmed felony arrest warrants issued out of Madison County. The female left the business and drove west out of Stanton on Hwy 24. The vehicle was observed by the Sheriff’s office on Hwy 24 and a hi-risk traffic stop was undertaken. Lindy Rath, 37, of Norfolk was taken into custody without incident and later transferred to the Madison County jail. The warrants were for Drug Violations and Failure to Appear. Rath has a history of being uncooperative and fleeing from law enforcement.
