Norfolk Woman Arrested on Felony Drug Charge

At about 1:00 a.m. on Thursday morning a traffic stop by the Stanton County Sheriff’s office on East Benjamin Avenue about three miles East of Norfolk led to the arrest of a 20 year old Norfolk woman. Allyssa Gragg was stopped for a window tint violation and found to not have a valid operators license and was in Possession of Methamphetamine, Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. Gragg was booked on the felony charge and jailed pending the setting of a bond.

In an earlier incident on Wednesday afternoon at about 1:00 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office arrested Ryan Burianek, 29, for Obstructing a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest following a traffic stop on Hwy 35 near Woodland Park. Burianek was stopped for a Stop Sign Violation when he refused to cooperate and ultimately began to struggle after being placed under arrest for Obstruction. Additional units were requested for assistance before Burianek was physically restrained. He was booked at the Sheriff’s office and released on a pre-determined bond set by the court. He is scheduled to appear in court next month.
