On Saturday afternoon at about 3:00 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office arrested Dessivee J.V. Wright, 31, of Stanton after he was observed to be driving on a revoked driver’s license in Stanton. He failed to stop and continued to drive for several blocks after emergency lights were activated, before finally stopping in the 100 block of 10th Street. He was then taken into custody for Driving During Suspension, Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle and Obstructing a Police Officer. He was also charged with a Probation Violation. He was booked at the Sheriff’s office and released after posting a cash bond.
