Sheriff’s Office Responds to Medical Emergency-Provides Lifesaving Measures

Just after 1:00 p.m. on Saturday the Stanton County Sheriff’s office was notified of a 27 year old male not breathing in a car on Hwy 24 about three miles east of Norfolk. The Sheriff and three deputies responded and arrived within several minutes, where they provided lifesaving medical attention and kept the male breathing until his care was transferred to Norfolk Fire paramedics who transported him to FRHS in Norfolk. Stanton Emergency Management and Stanton Fire also responded to the scene.
