In Stanton County District Court on Monday morning a 19 year old Norfolk woman was sentenced to more than six months in jail following her conviction for Attempted Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana. Erica Ober was arrested last fall by the Stanton County Sheriff’s office following a traffic stop in Stanton. Pleading guilty to felony charges were Caleb Blomberg, 31, of Columbus and Nicholas Walker, 26, Homeless. Blomberg entered guilty pleas to Possession of Methamphetamine and Driving While Intoxicated 3rd offense. He was arrested last summer by the Sheriff’s office following an early morning traffic stop in Stanton. A co-defendant has already completed her sentence on a drug violation. Nicholas Walker was arrested back in December along with Courtney Greening by the Sheriff’s office during a traffic stop on U.S. Hwy 275. Both were found in possession of methamphetamine and a large number of stolen credit cards, check blanks and social security cards. Walker pled guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a blank Financial Device. Greening pled guilty last month to felony charges and all three will be sentenced later this spring.
