The Stanton County Sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate a fall down stairs that seriously injured a 4 year old girl at her grandparents Stanton residence on Wednesday night. A 911 call was received at 9:26 p.m. that the girl had fallen and was not breathing. The Sheriff and three deputies arrived within one minute of the call and found her barely breathing and unconscious. She was stabilized and treated until EMS arrived and was later taken to FRHS by Norfolk Rescue. The child was later transferred to an Omaha hospital were she was being treated for a head injury. The Sheriff’s office ask that you keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
