Michael Kai, 61, of rural Stanton was arrested on Monday morning by the Sheriff’s office following his failure to maintain his registration as required by state statue. Kai was booked on the felony charge and is scheduled to appear in May for arraignment. Kai is required to register for lifetime for felony convictions of Sexual Assault of a Child.
