On Sunday afternoon about 3:30 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a westbound vehicle on Hwy 275 near Pilger for a Window Tint Violation. The driver Jesus Cabrera-Rodriguez, 29, of Omaha was found to be suspended for Third Offense DWI (high test) which is a felony offense. He was jailed pending the setting of a cash bond and his vehicle was impounded. He is also on probation and faces a violation in Douglas County. “To those that complain we stop people for Window Tint, I’m happy to tell you that the last two stops for that violation have led to a total of six felony arrest just this past week”.
