Pilger Man Arrested For Felony Drug Violation on Hwy 275

On Tuesday afternoon at about 4:45 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a speeding westbound pickup on Hwy 275 about one mile east of Norfolk. During the traffic stop the driver appeared under the influence of illegal drugs and was known to be on probation. During a search of the vehicle, drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine was located. The driver Andrew Allen, 39, of Pilger was placed under arrest and then jailed pending the setting of a cash bond. He face charges of Speeding, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a Probation Violation.
