At 12:02 p.m., on Tuesday, the Stanton County Sheriff’s office responded to and investigated a two-vehicle injury accident that sent both drivers to the hospital for treatment. The accident on Hwy 24 about two miles west of Stanton occurred when a westbound SUV driven by Brian Grevson, 66, of Stanton crossed the center line and collided with an eastbound sedan driven by Arlynn Knudsen, 35, of Stanton. Grevson was extricated from the wreckage and was transported to FRHS by Norfolk Fire and Rescue. Knudsen was also transported to FRHS by Norfolk Fire and Rescue. Seatbelts were in use and airbags deployed and both vehicles are a total loss. Hwy 24 was closed for nearly an hour as the scene was cleared. Also responding were Stanton Fire, Pilger EMS and Stanton County Emergency Management.
