On Thursday night at about 8:00 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office was notified a wanted fugitive from Colorado might be at a residence in Stanton. Vincent Cross, 18, was wanted in Weld County, Co for a Revocation of Probation warrant and a Brown County warrant. A residence on Hickory street was checked and upon seeing law enforcement Cross fled on to the roof of the house before being taken into custody without further incident by the Sheriff’s office. He was then jailed on the felony arrest warrant pending extradition back to Colorado through Brown County.
