Norfolk Man arrested For DWI After Testing More Than 4 Times The Limit

Just after 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening the Stanton County Sheriff’s office received a complaint of an erratic driver on Hwy 275 near Pilger. Shortly after the vehicle was contacted by the Sheriff’s office and the driver was found to be highly intoxicated. Alejandro Caravajal Adame, 30, of Norfolk was placed under arrest for DWI and booked at the Sheriff’s office where he provided a breath sample more than four times the legal limit. Adame was further cited for an Open container Violation and he refused to sign his citation and was then jailed pending the posting of a cash bond. “This was the second DWI arrest in the past 18 hours by the Sheriff’s office that had been reported to our 911 dispatch by a fellow driver, we appreciate the reports from the public and it resulted in a dangerous driver being taken off the roadway.” SHERIFF MIKE UNGER
