On Tuesday afternoon at about 2:15 p.m. a eastbound vehicle was observed speeding on Hwy 275 near the Pilger junction. The vehicle was stopped and the lone driver, Christopher Taitano, 32, of Fremont was found to have a revoked license until 2035 for multiple DWI convictions. Taitano was taken into custody on the felony charge and booked at the Sheriff’s office and was then jailed pending the posting of a $2500.00 cash bond. “Proactive law enforcement enforcing traffic violations leads to another felon being taken off our local highways! 🙂“ SHERIFF MIKE UNGER
