On Tuesday morning at about 11:06 a.m. a motorcycle was observed by the Stanton County Sheriff’s office going west on Hwy 275 at 106 mph in the 70 mph zone east of Norfolk. The motorcycle was pulled over and the driver, Zachary Robinson, 20, of Lincoln was found to have a revoked driver’s license and had just left the Stanton County Courthouse after being sentenced for Driving During Suspension and Speeding. Robinson was fined for both offenses after being found guilty following his arrest during the July 4th weekend by the Sheriff’s office. Robinson now has a new court date with the new charges of Speeding, DUS, Careless Driving, No Motorcycle License and No Valid Registration. Robinson was released after being booked at the Sheriff’s office and posting a bond on the new charges.
