Even a snowstorm doesn’t stop college students from partying. Just before midnight on Wednesday night the Stanton County Sheriff’s office responded to a loud party complaint at 103 Cottage Drive in Woodland Park. Upon arrival it was determined a underage alcohol party was taking place and occupants from the residence refused to answer the door and ultimately refused to cooperate. At that time, a search warrant was applied for and received by the Sheriff’s office. The search warrant was served and entry into the residence was undertaken. As a result of the warrant, 24 minors were given citations for Minor in Possession/Consumption of Alcohol and the three residents of the house were cited for Aiding and Abetting MIP. One minor was taken to FRHS by ambulance for severe intoxication after they were found face down passed out in a bedroom. A large cache of alcoholic liquor and liquor products were located inside the house. The Nebraska State Patrol also assisted.
