At about 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon the Stanton County Sheriff’s office was notified by an off-duty Norfolk police officer of a possible drunk driver that was outside the Woodland Park elementary school in the student pickup line. The Sheriff’s office had contact with Tristan Clyde, 43, of Norfolk who was found to be under the influence of alcoholic liquor. Clyde was placed under arrest for DWI and booked at the Sheriff’s office where she tested nearly three times the legal limit. Clyde was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (Above .150% BAC.) and an Open Container of alcoholic liquor violation. Children that were being picked up at school were secured by a family member. Clyde was released an a bond with a court date in February.
