On Tuesday in Stanton County Court, Jordan Wagner-Munoz, 28, of Stanton was sentenced to six months of Probation and fifteen consecutive weekends in jail following his conviction for Attempted Assault on a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest. Wagner-Munoz was originally arrested by the Sheriff’s office for biting a Sheriff’s deputy during a struggle at a Stanton residence earlier this year following a traffic contact. During the same incident a female was also arrested and later pled guilty to Obstructing a Police Officer.
