On Friday afternoon the Sheriff’s office took part in a Stanton Elementary school assembly where Sheriff Unger and Deputies Tyler Evans and Josh Bennett took time to answer questions about law enforcement from the school’s student council. The Sheriff’s office was also rewarded with a large assortment of Sheriff’s themed cookies for the entire office to enjoy. Opportunities like this are very rewarding to everyone involved and strengthen the bond between our youth and law enforcement. Earlier on Friday morning, Sheriff Unger took part in a law enforcement career day at the Norfolk Junior High School with other members of area law enforcement that was hosted by Norfolk P.D.
