On Monday Night at about 11:30 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office responded to a call of a suspicious person in the Country Village Trailer Court near Woodland Park. When deputies arrived they had contact with a male who advised he was homeless and gave his name as Clifford Stark. A records check indicated Stark, 29, was wanted on five warrants out of Kearney County and he was placed under arrest on the one felony and four misdemeanor warrants for theft related offenses. Stark was jailed and will be returned to Kearney County to face charges.
