At about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening the Stanton County Sheriff’s office responded to two separate reports of an intoxicated driver driving in the City of Stanton. The driver was contacted near the county fairgrounds and was placed under arrest for DWI after failing field sobriety test. Rodney Olson, 38, Stanton was booked at the Sheriff’s office for aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (Above .150% BAC.) where he tested nearly four times the legal limit and later was released after posting a cash bond.
