On Monday night at about 9:45 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a vehicle travelling east on Hwy 275 speeding at 84 mph in the 65 mph zone. The driver Enrique Dona, 26,of Pomona, MO was found to also have a revoked drivers license and was found to be under the influence and tested more than twice the legal limit. He was also found in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was booked at the Sheriff’s office and jailed pending the posting of bond.
