On Saturday night at about 11:20 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office was notified of a house fire about six miles North of Leigh on 826th Road. Upon arrival the Sheriff’s office found the unoccupied residence fully engulfed in flames. Leigh Fire responded and was on scene for several hours extinguishing the fire and keeping it from nearby out buildings. The residence was a total loss.
