Stanton Man Arrested of Felony Drug Charge

On Friday night at about 6:30 p.m., the Stanton County Sheriff’s office arrested 50 year old Paul Sciarappa Jr. at his downtown Stanton residence on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was arrested after he was contacted in regards to a roommate who was being sought in an assault investigation that had just occurred at another Stanton residence. That suspect Roosevelt Woodall, 30, of Stanton was later taken into custody for Third Degree Assault after he was located in Stanton for the alleged assault of a teenage female, who was treated at the scene by EMS for her injuries and declined hospital transport.
