At about 2:50 p.m. on Thursday afternoon the Stanton County Sheriff’s office stopped a speeding vehicle on Hwy 35 near Woodland Park. Upon having contact with the driver it was found that he was wanted on a felony warrant out of Dodge County for Theft. Lazaro Quintero-Garcia, 48, of Cape Coral, Florida was taken into custody on the warrant and traffic offenses and jailed pending his return to Dodge County authorities. It was unclear if Quintero-Garcia was legally in the country after entering from Cuba.
