On Friday morning just before 11:00 a.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office arrested a 53-year-old Omaha man wanted on a felony sex offender warrant out of Douglas County (Omaha) who was found hiding at a Stanton residence. Myron Mesteth who has a history of resisting arrest was taken into custody without incident. Mesteth was jailed on the felony warrant that currently has no bond. Mesteth was listed as one of the “Most Wanted” on the Douglas County Sheriff’s webpage prior to his arrest.
