In Stanton County District Court on Monday morning, Dustin Williams, 37, of Colorado Springs, Co was sentenced to 364 days in jail for Attempted Possession of a firearm by a Felon and an additional 90 days for carrying a concealed weapon (handgun). Williams was arrested back in 2021 by the Stanton County Sheriff’s office after a traffic stop led to him being found in possession of a concealed handgun and he was a convicted felon. He later fled the area forfeiting the cash bond that he posted and was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant in California and was extradited back to Nebraska in 2023 by the Sheriff’s office.
Also sentenced was Marlene Villalobos, 39, Norfolk who was sentenced to 12 months of probation and ninety days in jail following her conviction for Possession of Methamphetamine. She was arrested last year by the Sheriff’s office following a traffic stop near Woodland Park.
Barry Nichols, 52, Madison County Jail admitted to a Probation Violation on an Assault conviction and was also arraigned on an Attempted Terroristic Threats charge, he was released from custody on a $5000.00 PR Bond and will appear on February 5th.
Jamie Zobrist, 37, Norfolk appeared on a Driving While Intoxicated-3rd offense, Reckless Driving and had her case continued to February 5th.
Austin Warburton, 19, Laurel appeared on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle to Avoid Arrest, Willful Reckless Driving and his case continued to February 5th.
Shawnessy Sulley, 22, Omaha admitted to a Probation Violation on an original drug violation and will be sentenced on February 5th.
Donte Jackson, 31, Off Road Ranch appeared on charges of Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited person and Terroristic Threats. He had his case continued to February 5th.
Clayton Jindra, 36, Creston Pled guilty to Driving While intoxicated 4th offense and Speeding 83/65 and will be sentenced on March 4th.
Brad Tuttle, 56, Pender appeared on a Probation Violation from an original Theft charge and had his case continued to February 5th.
All those appearing in District Court were arrested or had their cases investigated by the Stanton County Sheriff’s office.
