At about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon the Stanton County Sheriff’s office responded to and investigated a one vehicle rollover accident about eleven miles south of Pilger on Hwy 15. The accident occurred when a northbound car driven by a fifteen year old with a learners permit drove off the roadway and overcorrected and crossed into the west ditch and rolled twice before coming to rest on its wheels. The juvenile and his 74 year old passenger were transported to the West Point hospital by EMS with non-life threatening injuries. Seatbelts were in use and the vehicle was a total loss. Pilger and Wisner Rescue responded to the scene.
