On Wednesday afternoon at about 4:30 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s office arrested Reath Jiech, 34, of Omaha on a felony Driving During Suspension charge following an investigative stop on Hwy 275 three miles west of Pilger. Jiech was found to have a license that was revoked for fifteen years for Driving While Intoxicated-3rd offense. Jiech was taken into custody and jailed pending the setting of a cash bond. He also had no proof of Insurance and his vehicle was impounded. “Diligent traffic law enforcement gets another felon off the roadway, and keeps everyone safer.” Sheriff Mike Unger
