One Last Presentation At Wayne State College to High School Students

Sheriff Mike Unger presented again this year at the Northeast Nebraska Career Day at Wayne State College that is sponsored by Nebraska County Extension offices. Sheriff Unger has volunteered his time and knowledge and presented for years during the high school Sophomore career day at WSC on topics such as law enforcement careers and teen safety. This will be the last time presenting as an active law enforcement officer, as Sheriff Unger retires in early January after more than 45 years of law enforcement service in the military and civilian sector. Earlier this year the Sheriff and Sheriff’s office were recognized as Friends of Stanton County 4H for public service activities like this educating our young people.
