On Memorial Day 2026, the Stanton County Sheriff’s office would encourage everyone to remember those that currently serve and have served in our U.S. Military and with the passing of Police Memorial Week those that have and currently serve in law enforcement. Many veterans and LEOs have died so that all of us can have the freedom and ability to pursue our daily lives in safety and comfort. As it says in the bible “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). God Bless the United States of America
