At about 1:40 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, the Stanton County Sheriff’s office had contact with a disabled vehicle on Hwy 57 about seven miles south of Stanton. A male standing outside the vehicle was recognized as a wanted person out of Madison County and when contacted he gave a false name. Chad Rokahr, 32, Homeless, was then positively identified and taken into custody on the arrest warrant. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine, that Rokahr admitted belonged to him. Additional marijuana and drug paraphernalia was located and the driver, James Ryan, 61, of Columbus was cited for 2nd offense possession of those items. Rokahr was jailed on the felony drug charge and warrant pending the setting of a cash bond.
